A classic style boat built with today’s technology. It sounds easy, but it’s a lot easier to fail than succeed. I knew that as tempting as it was to “copy” one of the legendary gameboats, it wasn’t an option. So, I decided to use the 43’ Merritt as the benchmark. Between meetings, phone calls and emails Erwin finally has a design. Boy he hits this one out of the park! We are starting with a blend of old school style on a modern bottom. We’ve even got pods in this thing! So now we start tweaking the design – a little more curve in this line, a little more rake in this angle. It’s amazing how subtle changes in the design can make such a big difference.
